2012 Performance Unlimited TJ
This project features everything custom with the exception of the TJ sheet metal! Here is the list we have for it for now. Driving this beast will be a GM LS 6.0 litre V8 which now purrs at a respectable 320 HP. Once we get finished, this engine will will be running around 450 HP. When we mean full service shop, it means EVERYTHING you could ever nee
Next up is what I call the Dana "654" front axle. We are using a Dana 44 center with Dana 50 gearing, following with Dana 60 knuckles. Superman is the only thing more bulletproof than this. Finally we are also installing Rockland constant velocity axle shafts which are the strongest shafts on the market, and guaranteed against breakage. How could you go wrong with that. Plus we are an authorized dealer for Rockland as well.
The Comanche
Another project we have going is this 89 comanche we are resurecting. Plans so far for this one are a Chevy LT1 V8, coil front suspension and linked front suspensopn with links and coilovers for the rear. Dana 44 in the front with a Ford 9" rear will help get all that power to the ground with the help of a 4 speed auto tranny. We have started some bed work and tubing so far........keep coming back for more updates on this and other projects.
Did I mention that we not only work on off road vehicles of all types, but we also offer services for all other vehicles that are happy only on pavement? Check out this 1950 Mercury.
A customer brought this beauty to us with a few issues that we are resolving for him. We started by updating the brake system, followed by some minor engine work. Then we are working out the suspension dynamics by tweaking it for a better ride. I did mention that we are a full service shop!
Finally we are starting our own off road parts.
After some fabbing and testing of the prototype, we have made a few pairs of our own tube doors. We started with 1 1/2" X .120 DOM tubing which is the same material we use for our tube fenders. We are getting them ready for a trip to the painter and going over the pricing for paint, versus powdercoat. This is just one of the many parts we can fabricate for our customers. If you are interested in tube doors for your TJ or YJ, we have them for you! Pricing starts at $400 painted black.
So stay tuned every week for an update to the blog as we offer new stuff. Please feel free to post up with comments on what we have here, as well as maybe something you would like to see.
