MARCH MADNESS

2009 JK Rubicon

The last blog we had the "before" pictures with the wheels and suspension for this bad boy. Well now it's done and ready for the trail.

We installed the 3" Poly Performance suspension for the Mamba wheels and tires to give them plenty of room to stretch.

Next we installed these sliders for protection against trees and rocks, and a nice place to put your feet with these larger wheels and tires.

We installed the mount for the Hi-Lift jack, along with a clean mount for the cb antenna. Note how the cable is routed to the unit, we like to think about all the details for our customers vehicles, just like they were our own.

79 Toyota FJ-40

We are doing a simple install of a 3" leaf spring lift with shocks for this customer. Any make and model, we do it all!

The Comanche

Lots-O-Stuff has been accomplished on this Indian. We finished the tube frame inside the engine compartment, along with making the cross member removable for maintenance. If you look for the 4 fittings in the rear (2 are blue) this is for the air conditioning we are going to install.

Next we went all out on the front end. We went with the Currie Antirock system to keep the front end controlled going down the road and still allowing great flex off road. For the steering, we went with the PSC hydro assist system for maximum control, and ease of use with the big tires we have underneath. Strength is another factor we had to consider. We fabricat our own tie rods out of 1.5" X .25 dom tubing. When going with bigger wheels and tires you need to upgrade, or you will wind up being towed off the trail. I like to drive out of the woods myself.

Here is another example of strength. We teamed up with Race Metalsmiths located in Wilder, VT for these custom driveshafts. Bulletproof is just one way to describe these.

Next up we have the remote mount of the transmission cooler.

And finally, we have a custom exhaust set-up for the indian. Note that on the "Y" pipe, we installed bungs for the O2 sensors to keep everything legal and running properly. Once again, fabricated here in our shop.

I also need to mention that we also work on other various items too. We are working on an auto transmission rebuild, along with a rebuild of this Warn winch too. Lastly we are upgrading this NP205 transfercase with the help of a twin stick shift kit.

New product alert!

We fabricate many of our own tools and products when we can't find anything available for our customers, or ourselves. We designed this great Rock Light. LED technology helps to keep it small, only a 1/2" hole is needed to install these, for a powerfull punch of light, in a small package. The applications are endless to your imagination. Under the hood, under the frame for night wheeling, under the dash, the list goes on and on. We are constantly designing new products so stay tuned for more.
