SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!

68 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER

We have been plugging along on the Cruiser and the punch list gets smaller. We sent the top and doors, along with a new hood to the painter for a fresh coat. Hopefully by the weeks end the rest will be off as well. We installed an A/C unit for some much needed cooler air. We had to go through the install and fabricate a bracket for the unit. We also revised the power steering bracket as well. A new throttle body and fuel lines were also installed to boost power. The wiring continues and continues (and continues) to sort out the previous problems.

We have installed new seat brackets for the pair you see here. Much needed upgrade for the front set. Once those are in, we will be working on the 3 point belts to go along with them.

And finally we are working on installing the new rubber floor covering, measure and trim, measure and trim, repeat.

TRANSMISSION REBUILD

We got this GM 700R4 transmission for a complete overhaul, vehicle awaits........

PORSCHE CAYENNE

We got a set of 4 stock wheels from a customer that wanted a change from the ordinary. We sent these off to get them powder coated, and this is the finished product installed. A big difference with a small modification!

THE INDIAN

We have about 70% of the wiring done so far, and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

We have the A/C plumbed up and almost ready to go.

We did some custom fabricating for the cooling system, of course. I used the canister from the YJ and fabbed it up for the duty of an antifreeze reservoir. We also removed the Warn winch control and did a remote mount inside the engine bay. Coupled with a wireless remote this cleans up the grill area for better air flow to the radiator and does not add any inconveniences. The fuel system and the ignition system are complete and ready for action.

Finally we have been working on the interior but have a lot more to go. Form and function are the number one priority here.

Did I happen to mention that the Indian is for sale?!?! Give me a call here at Performance for more details at 802-332-6383.
